Northern Ireland Science Park Case Study

One of Atlas' largest network and communication services clients, is the Northern Ireland Science Park Foundation Limited ('NISP'), Northern Ireland's leading creativity hub for ICT and information services.

NISP was established in March 1999 to create a self sustaining, internationally recognised knowledge-based Science Park in Northern Ireland offering a commercial and research driven centre for knowledge-based industries.

NISP is headquartered at the main Science Park site at Queen's Island, Belfast but aims to create a network of Science Park facilities throughout Northern Ireland, with a thriving community of tenant businesses seeking to exploit the university research base with industrial applications. The Parks will have a high quality built environment and infrastructure, supported by high-speed telecoms, enabling tenant companies to focus on knowledge-based entrepreneurialism

Atlas are proud to count NISP as one of our key clients, and are excited to be able to support it in distinguishing Northern Ireland as a world class centre of knowledge and technological development.

NISP acts as a parent company for the NISP subsidiaries, receiving and administering government financial assistance. Its subsidiaries include NISP (Holdings) Limited, NISP Property Limited and NISP Trading Company Limited.
