"<p>Corrymeela is Northern Ireland’s oldest peace and reconciliation organisation, with 40 full time staff and dozens of volunteers working alongside the eleven thousand people who spend time in their residential centre every year.</p> <p>As part of a tender win, Atlas helped Corrymeela to upgrade their legacy Siemens phone system, which had reached end of life and was no longer fit for purpose.</p> <p>The Panasonic system proposed by Atlas included almost 50 extensions and the hybrid nature of the Panasonic NS700 supported the IP handsets required to connect Corrymeela’s network of outbuildings at their site in Ballycastle.  The PC pass through capability of the handsets has enabled Corrymeela to modernise and simplify its networking infrastructure without a major cabling effort.</p> <p>In addition, Atlas’ proposal also included ‘hot-desking’ functionality, which Corrymeela require to easily facilitate both temporary and volunteer staff without having to continuously spend time and resources scaling the system to suit changing business needs.</p> <p>The Panasonic NS700 also offers Corrymeela a wide range of Unified Communication features in addition to standard business class PBX functions, making it ideal for them as an SME. "<p><strong>Atlas Communications have recently installed Fibre Internet connections at Forty8 North Business Park as part of the Government’s Gigabit Voucher Scheme.</strong></p> <p>Based within one of Belfast’s busiest industrial areas, Forty8 North Business Park is host to a range of companies. From creative industries with high bandwidth requirements for uploading &amp; sharing images, to leading mechanical and electrical engineering firms who need reliable connections to keep in contact with customers and engineers working remotely.  </p> <p>These tenants are now able to meet their demand for greater digital connectivity by upgrading to a gigabit capable internet connection thanks to Atlas, who are a local provider on the Gigabit Voucher Scheme.   </p> <p>The Fibre to the Premise service supplied by Atlas under the scheme provides upload and download speeds several times faster than existing connections, with eligible businesses receiving government support to help cover their installation costs.</p> <p>Sean Mahon, CEO of Atlas commented, “As a supplier on the Gigabit Voucher Scheme we have helped companies based at the park treble their Internet speeds without the worry of covering the cost of installation. "<p>Atlas Communications recently worked alongside Sperrin Integrated College, to install a new <a href="" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Panasonic NS700</a> phone system, with over 40 handsets. The contract, part of an integrated system, lines &amp; calls service, was won through a competitive tender process in response to the school looking to replace their existing Toshiba system.</p> <p>The school had two main drivers in its search including having call recording in place to help with safeguarding of staff. They were also looking for a system that would allow more efficient call handling for parents and staff.</p> <p>Atlas’ proposal included replacing their existing ISDN lines with SIP lines and using SIP side call recording as a cost effective way to monitor calls. This migration to SIP also reduced the cost of the school’s line rental.</p> <p>The hybrid feature of the Panasonic system meant it was compatible with these new lines, and also allowed the school to benefit from a new, bespoke auto attendant (press 1, press 2) service for managing inbound calls.</p> <p>We worked closely with the school throughout, facilitating dates outside of term time and offering a lease purchase option through Grenke which helped spread out investment without affecting their capital spend.  </p> <p>“The new system supplied by Atlas has not only met our call recording and call management requirements, but the proposal to upgrade our phone lines to SIP, has provided reassurance that the system is future proofed, and is flexible to meet our needs and any future changes within telecoms.” Martin McAfee, Sperrin Integrated College  </p>"

"<p>RUAS is a charitable organisation, formed with the purpose of promoting agriculture in Northern Ireland through hosting shows and providing agricultural guidance &amp; instruction. The most notable event in their yearly calendar is the Balmoral Show, Ireland’s largest Agri-food festival, which attracts over 100,000 visitors each year at its new home in Balmoral Park. Located within Balmoral Park is also the Eikon Exhibition Centre, a 10,000sqm exhibition space that is host to a diverse range of events each year.</p> <p>Atlas provide event communications management on behalf of RUAS as well as providing their own internal telephony &amp; network services. With the Balmoral Show alone having close to 750 trade stands across 4 days, these large scale events have huge bandwidth requirements and often individual exhibitors require bespoke networking to run product demos, stream videos &amp; for taking secure card payments.  </p> <p>The team at Atlas are highly experienced in delivering Internet services at events like these, from one off single events at the Eikon Centre to the single biggest agricultural event in Ireland. "<p>Atlas Communications is continuing its growth in 2016 with a substantial new contract to provide public Wi-Fi at three of Northern Ireland’s key fishing ports. Projects funded by the European Fisheries Fund with Northern Ireland Fishery Harbour Authority, have seen the ports of Kilkeel, Portavogie and Ardglass provide free wireless access for tourists, visitors and locals alike.  </p> <p>David Smyth, NIFHA Project Manager explained: “the installation of a public access Wi-Fi service at the three fishing harbours by Atlas Communications  will be of use to the fishermen, for other business users and for promoting the harbour and local communities. It will also be available to tourists and visitors ensuring connectivity during their visit. </p> <p>The solution was developed carefully by Atlas to meet our specific requirements enabling it to be accessed in multiple languages including Romanian, Polish, Lithuanian and Tagalog.”</p>"

"<p>Belfast based creative media company Pale Blue Dot have trusted in Atlas to rapidly install a high speed near-synchronous broadband solution.</p> <p>The business was being hampered by a very poor ADSL which was limiting upload speeds to well under 1Mg in turn reducing the agility and profitability of the business.</p> <p>As Jamie Steele, Managing Director, explained “The Atlas solution enabled us to take advantage of the huge increase in upload speed to move high resolution images and movies to cloud storage. “</p> <p>Atlas Programme Manager, Manus Savage, commented, “While Pale Blue Dot loved their bohemian city centre location, the lack of suitable connectivity was seriously impacting their business. “</p>"

"<p>Successful, local Northern Ireland based Company SOS Group have recently availed of Belfast City Council's Super Connected Voucher Scheme for high-speed broadband in their premises, delivered by Atlas Communications. The grant scheme allows SMEs to apply for up to £3,000 towards the costs of installing high speed broadband solutions.</p> <p>Commenting on the service launch, Atlas Programme Manager, Manus Savage said, ‘What we aim to do is deliver broadband at a price that fits most businesses and do it in&nbsp;a way that is high impact, rapidly deployable and with as little civil works disruption as possible.
